Students with learning disabilities

The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures follows the ADA guidelines and related University policies for accommodating students with disabilities. Students who have disabilities that are covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act need to be properly registered with the Office of Disability Accommodation (University Union, suite 324; 565-4323). Grading  

This  course  is  graded  Pass  (P)  or  No  Pass  (NP).  In  order  to  get  a  grade  of  Pass  (P)  in  this  course,  you  must  get  a  grade  of  C  or  better  on  all three  projects.  Each  project  will  be  a  series  of  words,  sentences,  or  paragraphs  to  analyze,  summarize,  and/or  translate.  Projects  will  include a substantial amount of work and will be  based  on  material  covered  in  the  required  textbook.  Since  you  will  be  doing  these  projects  at  home,  in  the  library,  or  wherever  you  choose  to  do  them,  you  will  have  access  to  any  resources  available  to  you.  More  information  about  the  projects  will  be  given  to  you  in  class.
