What is a blended course?
A blended Spanish course at the 1000 level (1010 or 1020) typically meets twice in the classroom and twice on line (in Blackboard) every week. Sometimes blended courses are referred to as hybrid courses.
What equipment is required for students in a blended section of SPAN 1010 or 1020?
All students in blended courses must have access to a computer capable of using the Blackboard site.
A microphone and a headset are also necessary.

Is there any special registration code needed for blended sections of SPAN 1010 and 1020?
No. You may register for this course if there are seats available and if you take responsibility for determining that you have the necessary equipment.
Do I have to register for a lab?
Yes. Students in all sections of SPAN 1010 and 1020 must register for a lab. The lab is considered a co-requisite, and the registration system is set up to require you to register for a lab when you register for a course section.
